Hi! I’m Fredrik Lyon, a multidisciplinary spatial and visual designer. I’m currently a senior entering my final semester studying Industrial Design at the University of Cincinnati’s College of Design, Art, Architecture, and Planning (DAAP) with focuses in digital product, brand, and spatial design.

Prior to my time studying Industrial Design I spent two years studying Fine Arts and Fashion at UC DAAP from which I still draw inspiration. Over the past seven years trend forecasting has become an essential component to my work. From bio-tech to upcoming instagram aesthetics, I love to play in the realm of “what’s next”. More personally, I love R&B, anything sports related, iPhone photography, putting together fits, and eating takeout on the curb.

Experience in traditional industrial design processes, alongside spatial design thinking, my fine arts/fashion background, and a passion for collaboration pushes me to keep moving ideas forward. I always pursue and incorporate my passions into my work whether it be footwear, film, storytelling, or fashion. Throughout my education I have made it a point to strive for what doesn’t come naturally and get in some laughs along the way.
